20 Octobre, 2014

This week was kind of a difficult week. People here do not like to get up for church at 8. Half of our investigators did not go because they say they overslept. Then they tell us that they went to bed at like 3 in the morning. So that is kind of frustrating. However, it is going well in the Mexico City West Mission! We had 4 people in church for the 1st time and 1 for the second, and we will hopefully be having atleast one baptism this week.

Was kind of sick this week and had a monster headache one of the days, but we always still have to work because there are people out there! Spanish is becoming easier still, but sometimes the accent and speed is so hard to understand.

My message for this week is to be friends to investigators. A lot of the people here are neglecting being friends or helping other people out which is really dissapointing. Everyone needs to be brought to Christ no matter how weird you think they are. We are the Church of Jesus of Christ, and we need to act like it all the time. This church was not made for perfect people. Gossip and other things do not matter. The Atonement matters. Change can occur. We need to stop looking at people for who they are right now. We need to see them as God sees them, as children of God. We need to love them unconditionally.

I love the mission and the work that I am doing. We all need to be missionaries in our own ways.

Love, Elder Andrews
